As a business owner, I tend to run an unconventional (yet fun) ship! I am also a firm believer in intertwining spirituality with business. Here are some lifestyle hacks that have profoundly transformed my well-being and journey as a founder.<\/p>\n

1. Recharge, CEO Style: Prioritize Me Time<\/h2>\n

As CEOs, we are renowned for prioritizing the success of our ventures over our personal well-being. However, I’ve learned the hard way that neglecting self-care hinders both personal and professional growth. Let’s flip the script on self-care by dedicating a whole day every month (or week if you really want to get ambitious) exclusively to ourselves. Block it off on your calendar and fill it with activities that bring you joy, peace and renewed energy. Embrace a leisurely day to recharge your mind, body and spirit. I block off “me” time every Friday and call it my Recharge Day. That means I can only schedule things that are classified as self-care. I speak from personal experience when I say this CEO-style recharge can bolster your leadership effectiveness and bring harmony to your life.<\/p>\n

2. Nurture Your Potential: Embrace Support And Mentorship<\/h2>\n

The journey to success is never meant to be walked alone. As CEOs, we benefit significantly from surrounding ourselves with a supportive network. Whether it’s a life coach, therapist or seasoned mentor, having someone who offers unbiased guidance and holds us accountable can be a game-changer. Personally, I have a therapist, an enneagram coach, a business coach and a salon owner mastermind group, and all of them offer support in different ways. I encourage you to embrace the power of mentorship and watch as new doors of opportunity swing wide open.<\/p>\n

3. Ditch The To-Do List: Take A Calendar-Centric Approach<\/h2>\n

Ah, the never-ending to-do list. While it might seem like an efficient way to manage tasks, it can also lead to stress and overwhelm. Here’s a game-changing paradigm shift: Embrace the magic of calendars. Schedule everything, from the most mundane chores to the most monumental projects. This organized approach to time management can not only streamline your life but also liberate you from the pressure of ticking off tasks. If something doesn’t fit into the day, reschedule it. Say goodbye to sleepless nights spent worrying about undone tasks and hello to a newfound sense of control and peace.<\/p>\n

4. Practice Mindful Leadership: Meditate Your Way To Clarity<\/h2>\n

In the fast-paced world of business, our minds can quickly become overwhelmed. I prefer guided meditation, which I schedule time for in my calendar. I want to be able to find clarity amidst chaos. Start small, dedicating just 15 minutes a week to meditation and gradually work your way up. I think you’ll soon witness how this simple practice centers your mind, promotes better decision making and boosts overall well-being. My favorite meditations are usually on the Calm app, but I’ve found some cool ones just by simply searching “meditation” on Spotify.<\/p>\n

5. Paint Your Flow: Unleash Creativity And Productivity<\/h2>\n

<\/strong>Amidst our packed schedules and endless responsibilities, making time for creativity and passion is essential. For me, painting has been the conduit for finding my flow state, igniting a wildfire of creativity and productivity. Discover an activity that lights up your soul, one that makes time disappear and propels you into a state of total focus and engagement. Nurture this activity regularly to uncover fresh perspectives on your leadership journey.<\/p>\n

Unlocking our true potential as CEOs involves a transformative journey of self-discovery, embracing the unconventional and nurturing ourselves holistically. Let’s strive for greatness by shattering limiting beliefs, embracing self-forgiveness and integrating these non-traditional lifestyle hacks into our lives.
